What StudySAT is for, what it must never be used for, and how practice differs from live assessment. Read the official SAT information linked below for current assessment requirements.
01The short answer
What you can do,and what you cannot.
Check the rules for your specific assessment. Practice support does not authorise assistance during a live test.
Appropriate use
Reviewing a concept before a practice session
Learning from explanations after attempting a question
Identifying gaps in your understanding
Practising with clearly labelled sample questions
Checking your reasoning and sources
Following the rules for each assessment
Misuse · against the rules
Using study tools during a live assessment
Sharing secure or unreleased test questions
Presenting generated work as your own
Treating an example score as an official result
Impersonating another learner
Using tools to bypass assessment rules
02How we hold ourselves to it
Four principles,built in.
Academic integrity is fundamental to learning and assessment. Practice scores are not official or calibrated results.
Learning first
Try the question yourself, then use feedback to understand the reasoning.
Honest attribution
Identify external assistance and sources whenever your school or task requires it.
Clear boundaries
A practice tool does not authorise assistance during a live test.
Transparent examples
StudySAT example scores and progress illustrate the interface; they are not official or calibrated results.
03What College Board requires
Practice and testing boundaries
Read the current College Board testing rules for the SAT administration you plan to take. StudySAT is independent and cannot change those requirements.
Keep practice and assessment separate. Do not use StudySAT to obtain assistance during a live test or distribute secure test content.
For school assignments, ask your teacher what support is permitted before using it. Acknowledging assistance does not make prohibited assistance acceptable.
