How StudySAT handles accuracy, sources, updates, corrections and AI-assisted work. If a page here breaks one of these, tell us and we will fix it.

01The standards
  1. Source priority

For study design rules, assessment policies, dates, and other time-sensitive claims, StudySAT prioritises official SAT, school, government, and other primary sources where they are publicly available. Explanatory material may also use reputable educational and academic references.

  2. Clear educational purpose

Content should help students understand a concept, navigate a course, practise skills, or make an informed study decision. It should not encourage plagiarism, impersonate official SAT advice, or promise a particular grade.

  3. Dates and updates

Guide pages display publication or update information when it is available in the content system. Pages are revised when material changes or a correction is confirmed; an updated date should reflect a meaningful content change rather than a cosmetic refresh.

  4. AI-assisted work

AI tools may assist with drafting, organisation, classification, or quality checks. AI output can be incomplete or wrong, so current and high-stakes facts should be checked against authoritative sources. AI assistance does not make StudySAT an official SAT source.

  5. Bylines and identities

StudySAT Team is a collective editorial byline. Historical subject-role labels are not represented as named people. A personal author identity should be used only when the individual can be accurately identified and the byline reflects their contribution.

Corrections

Report a factual error or an outdated reference to hello@studysat.net. Include the page URL, the passage in question, and a supporting source if you have one. Confirmed issues are either corrected directly or clarified in a later update.

Independence and responsibility

StudySAT is an independent platform and is not affiliated with or endorsed by College Board. You remain responsible for checking test dates, test-day rules and registration requirements against College Board’s own material.
